Faith Journal is a fast-paced weekly program that surveys local, national and international news. The program features a forum with leaders drawn from diverse communities. Also included are in-depth overseas and local features and a weekly calendar review.

Each week the program opens with a fast-paced summary of news and newsclips with anchor Jennifer Tysoe. It's faith and ethics news drawn from all over the planet.

The next half hour of the program is a lively roundtable discussion led by Richard M. Landau.

BEHIND THE STORY – Host, Producer, Series Developer

“A groundbreaking look inside the news & how it’s covered”

Behind the Story is an entertaining weekly one-hour roundtable discussion with three guests who write, report and edit news.  The approach probes the coverage and port rayal of current issues in mainstream and niche-market media. Each week the program, hosted by Richard M. Landau, addresses the coverage of from two to three items of significance in the current news.

“This is all about digging behind the superficial aspects of news to uncover what’s really going on and place it in context,” says Richard.

The tone of the program is intimate, behind the scenes, chatty and frank . . . a “shirtsleeves” look inside the minds that cover the news. Wherever possible, the program rolls in relevant tape footage of each topic OR a montage of newspaper headlines.  The program’s closing segment each week – The Floor Is Yours – provides each guest with time to editorialize on their own favorite issue.

OTHER PRODUCTIONS

At CTS-TV, besides Faith Journal, Landau is Executive Producer responsible for 11 other TV series that range from public affairs programs to series directed to specific multicultural Canadian communities.

He has two TV series in development.
