BROADCAST EXECUTIVE

Since 1992, Richard M. Landau has been closely involved with the administration, programming, promotion and production of Canadian broadcasting.   As Executive Producer at CTS TV since the service signed on in 1998, he has been in charge of the balanced programming schedule – more than a dozen regularly scheduled daily and weekly TV programs constituting 20 hours of weekly programming.  Beyond fiscal and administrative obligations, his responsibilities extend to regulatory affairs and leading staff in the development, production and programming of over a dozen TV series.

He is the producer and host of Behind the Story -- a weekly TV series that explores the ethics of journalism and reporting -- and Faith Journal, a weekly TV program dedicated to interfaith discussion. He also acts as network watchdog and censor. His programs have won a number of international awards for excellence.

He is a specialist in a number of other fields, too.

Richard is an established e-commerce and marketing executive who, before turning his attention to television, for seven years was president of a thriving advertising agency. He lectures frequently on e-commerce and marketing strategies.

He is also a political strategist, a management consultant and the author of three works on organizational objectives and the retention of information technology workers.

Richard graduated with a B.A. from the University of Ottawa (1975) and an M.A. from Carleton University (1979).
